摘要：An infra-red transmission system in which messages in the form of pulse codeddata signals are transmitted between transmitting-receiving units (6) each being providedwith at least one or a plurality of infra-red light emitting elements and one or a pluralityof infra-red light sensitive photo-element, in a house having such a formed, common
outlet and inlet opening for the infra-red light, that a directed transmitting and receivingbeam is obtained. The message transmission is used for the control of carrier movementsdestined for the transport of goods along movements paths in an area, a plurality oftransmitting-receiving units (6) being mounted on fixed locations along the movementpaths and one transmitting-receiving unit (6) being mounted on each carrier (12) allhaving such an alignment of the transmitting-receiving beams that when a carrier passessaid locations the relevant transmitting-receiving beams sweep across each other duringwhich the message transmission takes place. In each carrier (12) which is freelycontrollable in direction and speed a data input- and display unit, connected to theassociated transmitting-receiving unit, is mounted in aid of the driver.
