摘要：A stocker (21) can accommodate a recording medium, while reproduction meansreproduces the information stored in the recording medium. First transfer means (31)serves to transfer the recording medium from within the stocker to the outside of thedevice and vice versa. Second transfer means serves to transfer the recording mediumwithin the stocker to a reproduction site and vice versa. The device comprises positioningmeans for determining the height of the recording medium relative to the first or secondtransfer means and an open/close key for protruding the recording medium from thedevice or housing the recording medium in the device. Upon operation of the open/closekey, the recording medium is housed in the stocker if the recording medium is in a stateof protrusion from the device, while if the recording medium is in a state of being housedin the stocker, the recording medium is protruded from the casing, or the reproduction isstopped and the recording medium is then protruded from the device when therecording medium is in a state of reproduction of information.
