Last weekend, my family and I went for a picnic in the park. It was a beautiful day with clear skies and a gentle breeze. We brought a big blanket to sit on and a basket full of delicious food.

The park was full of people enjoying the sunshine. Some were playing frisbee, others were having a barbecue. We found a nice spot near a big tree and spread out our blanket. I was so hungry that I couldn't wait to dig into the sandwiches and fruit that my mom had packed.

After we finished eating, my dad took out a football and we started a game. It was so much fun running around and trying to score goals. My little sister even joined in and we all laughed and had a great time.

As the day went on, the sun started to set and it got a little cooler. We packed up our things and headed home, feeling tired but happy. I can't wait for our next picnic
