摘要：PURPOSE:To turn OFF an apparatus surely by setting the apparatus accordingto a voltage and avalanche voltage set from element characteristics as reverse- biasvoltage at the time of turn-OFF. CONSTITUTION:A main circuit is formed of a main DCpower 11, an element 12 having self-cutoff capability, and an electric rolling stock drivingmain motor 13. Its gate control circuit is composed of a power transformer 14, a
switching signal generator circuit 15 for switching elements 18-19, ON-OFF control circuit22, a gate control circuit 20, a switching control circuit 130, a subdivided circuit 120 andothers. Further, the subdivided circuit 120 is composed of Zener diodes 115-116,switching elements 121-123 and others, and a power supply 21 for switching elements221-224 is formed into a power supply separated from the ON-OFF power supply for theself-cutoff element 12 by the secondary winding 142- of the power transformer 14 andothers. Thus, the magnitude of the reverse-bias voltage is changed beforehand accordingto the avalanche voltage of the element 12 to operate an apparatus.
