摘要：A device for making bags is provided with an upright forming tube over which atubular structure made of flexible sealable sheet material is moved downwardly step-by-step to be provided at its lower end, when projecting freely from the forming tube with abottom by means of bottom seam dies during an interval the forming tube is movedupwardly while the tubular structure is clamped against movement. Subsequently, adouble gripper seizes folded margins of the bottom and pulls the tubular structuredownwardly and then the bag so formed is severed from the tubular structure.
