So,let’s begin with the film first.But,about the film,it can be easily summarized like this-a man sacrifices for the world,like most of hollywood blockbusters says.And if you want to know a little more,it will be introduced like this-Robert Neville seems to be the last survivor in NewYork when the virus spreads in the city.In order to find a vaccine to eliminate the virus,he decides to live in the city alone.At last,when he and other two survivors are surrounded by the infected, he finally invents the vaccine, and he sacrifices for it. 其实宜用过去式
观点没明确给出So,since you seem to know the film well,let me turn to our next point responsibility.To be specific in the film, fistly when the virus spreads in NewYork,Robert quickly decides to send his wife and danghter out of the city,but he stays in the city for his research,even if he seems to be the last man in this hell on earth.Facing the disaster,all people will try to escape from it.To some extent,being alive is one kind of responsibility,and everyone needs to be responsible for their relatives.But,in some special circumstances,people need to face the danger.For Neviile,as a soldier and scientist,his responsibility requires him to face this challenge,to save more people. //even when he doesn’t know if he can survive.
Secondly,since he has decide to live in the city alone,he has to fight with longliness and fear. He has to bear the failures in endless experiments and the danger to be killed. Under that circumstance, to die is a choice. But he insists to shine in the dark.
Thirdly, he makes a sacrifice for the vaccine,in other words,he uses his life to rescue both human and the world.As I have already said earlier,life is the most important to some extent.But, being a soldier,his responsibility is protecting his people;being a scientist,his responsibility is protecting research achievement.Either of them is greater than his own life.So,of course,he surrenders his life for them,then he becomes a legend. In conclution,this film reveals the meaning of responsibility perfectly in the choices when answering to be or not to be. Responsibility is the basic characteristic for human.Without it,there won’t be any cooperation;Without it,there won’t be any reliance.And without it, the society will never come into existance.
