let the claasics be classics
Recently, an issue regarding classic has been brought to public attention. People may vary in their opinions and standings. Some insist that the classics deserve our respect and should be well-protected for the sake of their value through the test of the time. Yet others hold the discrepancy opinion that we should venture into the unknown and mysterious areas, which may lead us to better-known of the fabulous world and a brand new era.Young people grown up in the 21st century as I am, I approve of the latter view.
As is well-acknowledged, the world is developing at a rapid speed, not only in economy and finance, but also in society and human science. As the society develops, a great many things we called classics are not fitting us anymore and may even block our way on triumph. Therefore, we have no choice but to discard some ''classics'' which are out of date. It doesn't naturally follows that we'll surely make breakthrough assuming that we acquire something new. However, I can ensure that if we don't try to move forward, we'll definitely be stalled. As a result, we should be audacious to explore the new sphere.
There is no denying that a nation can't reach a higher level on the condition that they ignore the history and their ancestors' accomplishments. Hence, without doubt, it is advisable to just let the classics be classics. True indeed that the essential purpose of discovering the new area has never been primarily about absorbing in everything whether it is beneficial to us or not in a narrow sense of making our country affluent. However, classics are, to some extend, simply the wisdom of our ancients. In other words, our destiny is tightly holding in our own hands. What direction the world will be heading is largely depending on what our generation could achieve. Thus, advancing the unknown fields as well as exploring new science area is our inherent responsibility.
In summary, we ought to take our responsibilities, go with the trend of time, or even better, lead the developing of the world, instead of being left behind. Only when we learn to be creative and gain our own insights into the world can we live up to people's expectancy.
